Mini gives you warm white light by day and blue-free amber and red at night. Turn the dimmer and it goes from 3000 K warm white, through amber, to ember red, then off. No blue light at night means your body makes melatonin on time, so you fall asleep faster.
The light is incredibly true to color: CRI 98, R9 92. CRI scores how true colors look under a light, out of 100. R9 is the red test most LEDs fail badly; you probably have several in your home with scores so bad they go past zero into the negatives. Premium LEDs score about 90 and 50; cheap ones 70 and 0 - or worse. Ours: 98 and 92. There is no flicker in this lamp: pure DC drive, no PWM. The LEDs sit on an aluminum metal-core board built to last decades, not years. Most of your other lamps contain a board made from plastic resin and glass fibers, which does not conduct heat well, and causes your LEDs to prematurely fail.
